Peter Šandor 

is one of the most outstanding talents of the younger generation of Slovak pianists.  He studied at the Bratislava Conservatory with Vencislava Ilievska and at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna with Peter Efler.

After graduating from the Conservatory, he pursued the Master’s (2013) and the doctoral degree (2016) at the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava under the guidance of Ida Černecká and František Pergler.

In 2016, he began to serve on VŠMU faculty as instructor of piano at the Keyboard Department. Peter Šandor belongs to the category of universal musicians – besides his classical career, since 2004 he has been performing with the popular band Polemic as keyboard player.
